Four new presentations are especially reserved for the youngest visitors.
Getting to know climates
This game consists of a large screen and four terminals.
Each player chooses a climate from among 5: polar, tropical, temperate, Mediterranean and desert. Landscapes, plants, people, dwellings, and animals will appear at random on the screen. The players must answer yes or no according to whether they think the animal, landscape, etc., belongs to this climate.
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
This time a “giant” Electro game is involved. The player must connect a question to its answer. If he chooses a non-environmentally sound answer, a rather loud sound is heard. If he chooses an environmentally sound answer, applause greets his answer.
The questions asked are related to daily behaviour, everyday life at home or at school.
Seasonal foods
A chart with ten or so fruits and vegetables. Next to each of them, there is a clock divided into 4 sections corresponding to the 4 seasons. Each season is represented by a drawing. The child must place the hand of the clock on the season during which he thinks the vegetable/fruit is grown.
If he places the hand on the wrong season, a red light is switched on. If he places the hand on the right season, a green light is switched on.
Endangered animals
The children choose a video clip produced by the WWF. The animal talks and tells in very simple terms why it is endangered. Each clip ends with some advice on curbing global warming.
